Dr.Venkata Rama Reddy Governor Of the District Rtn.DR.D.Venkata Rama Reddy was born to Late D.Venugopal Reddy,a retired Police officer and D.Sarada on 21-06-1946 at Rajampet.He passed his B.Sc., first in S.V.University from V.R. College,Nellore.He obtained his M.B.B.S., degree from kurnool Medical College,Kurnool.During his College days,he captained the College Cricket and Tennis Teams and a member of the successful teams in Inter-Collegiate Games.He also represented Kurnool District cricket Team.he was under officer in NCC and a 'C' certificate Holder.He was a member of the Bharat Scouts,Bharat Sevak Smaj and N.S.S and many other Social Organizations .He has undertaken many social acitvities before joining Rotary Club. He is a Governing member of many Educational Institutions at sullurpet.He served as a member of S.V.University Academic Senate.He Joined Rotary as a Charter member of Rotary Club of Sullurpet in 1991.After serving as president for Two years,he has worked in all capacities at club level.At district level he has served as Governor's Zonal representative,member Governor's Special aide and Task Force Chairman for Rapid Disaster Relief.He was adjudged as the outstanding District Officer in all the assignments he held.he is a Major Donot to TRF.He is the contact person for many of the matching grant programmer of the club.he is married to DR.Y.Sarada,Who is also a Practitioner.She is a member of the Sullurpet Inner Wheel club and Paul Harris Fellow.he has two sons Hemanth and Kirthi Who are Computer Engineers.
Mrs.Sudha Nagaraj District Chairperson of Inner Wheel Sudha Nagaraj was born on 14th March at Bellary.She did her schooling and college in Bellary.She obtained her Arts Degree from karnataka University.She was very active in extra curricular activities during her college days,She successfully participated in inter college seminars and was the secretary for the planning forum of the college.She has been the class topper for 2 consecutive years.Sudha joined the Inner wheel club of chitradurga during the year 1983 and served the club in all capacities including secretary and president. During her period as president she successfully conducted a MEGA cancer detection camp and wad instrumental in collecting a very huge amount for the club.She also won the BEST Inner Wheel member in her club during the year 94-95.Sudha had served as the CONFERENCE CHAIRPERSON during the year 97-98.Sudha has been in Dist executive committee for the last seven years and served as dist secretary twice and dist vice chairperson twice.She attended all the district Conferences since 1990 and almost all the Dist assemblies so far.She also takes very keen interest in Rotart Activities.She has been successfull n carrying out the MASTER OF CEREMONIES for several Rotary Conferences and Assemblies.She has also attended the Inner Triennal Conferences at Bombay and Cochin.Apart from Inner Wheel activities,Sudha is very active in several other social organisations.She was the member of Akka Mahadevi samaj & Gayathri Mahila samaj.She has also served as Asst.Dist.Commissioner for Girl Guides and director of Horticulture Society Chitradurga Dist.she has served as the director of mahila samaj,Chitrdurga.At present she is serving as the administrator of a English Medium School.Her hobbies are reading,Cooking,gardening and making friends.She is married to Rtn.T.K.Nagaraj,a very active Rotarian in chitradurga and they are blessed with a son
